2014 Best Workers of SNAM
Ms. Doreen Darko, a Senior Reporter with The Catholic Standard, has been adjudged the Overall Best Worker of the Standard Newspapers and Magazines (SNAM) Ltd., publishers of The Catholic Standard for the year 2014.
A Certificate was presented to her by Mr. Derx Baffour, Vice Chairman of the SNAM Board of Directors at an End-of-Year Get-together at the Press House at Sowutuom.
Other Departmental Best workers were also presented with Certificates for their hardwork during the year were: Mr. Mark Asare (Accounts); Mrs. Elizabeth Appiah-Darkwa (Graphic Designing); Mr. Charles Agyare (Printing) and Mr. Emmanuel Uzonwanne (Driving Section).
Ms. Darko was also presented with the Best Worker Certificate for the Editorial Section.
Mr. Baffour commended the Management for their prudentially running the Company and Staff for their co-operation.
He urged all Departments to work extra hard to generate more income, stating that while there was the need to concentrate on their various fields, they should do other duties assigned them.
Mr. Baffour called on the Staff to try as much as possible to market the Company as the Board works hard to improve conditions of service.
During an End-of-Year Review meeting with Staff earlier, Mr. Isaac Fritz Andoh, Managing Director, thanked the staff for the hard work, dedication and commitment to duty.
He tasked them to work harder in the coming year.
